Neil Bartley has been rocking the floors of Scotland's clubs for the last four years through many guest spots alongside his residencies at AFTERDARK, Kink and now Musika. These, coupled with regular dates around the UK, Ibiza and Mexico have helped make his imprint on the scene. Neil constantly keeps abreast of new technologies, skills trends as well as music. He also returns reactions for a number of producers and major labels. In September he was named a runner up in IDJ magazines 'Raw Tallent' competition.

Back in 2003 Neil beat competition from around Scotland to win the Bacardi B-Bar DJ competition which was hosted by Beat 106. This earned him a trip to New York and a set at Scotland's largest annual festival, T in the Park. Since then he has had numerous mixes played over the airwaves as well as giving interviews and performing live on stations such as Beat 106, XFM Scotland, Galaxy, HFM (Ibiza) and a whole host of internet stations. Earlier this year Neil presented the AFTERDARK radio show on Edinburgh's' Fresh Air FM.

Over the last four years Neil has had the pleasure of working with and supporting some of the main players in the scene. These have included King Unique, Spencer Parker, Sharam Jey, Paul Harris, David Guetta, Mark Knight, John Digweed, Huggy, Lisa Littlewood, Tom Novy, Axwell, Martin Solveig, Tim Sheridan, Sandy Rivera, Tim Deluxe, Paulo Mojo and Micky Slim.

In 2006, Neil, alongside co-resident Jammy, hosted the AFTERDARK room supporting John Digweed for the Transitions launch party.

Outside of his residencies, but still inside the UK, Neil has performed at such clubs as Progression, Stereotype, Unlock The House, Hed Kandi, XPRESS, Colours and Karnival.

Internationally, 2007 saw Neil return to Mexico for his second year playing for Mezzanine's Playa En La Fiesta on the stunning Tulum Beach. Summer brought with it his fifth consecutive year playing on Ibiza. This year complimenting previous years' visits which have included AFTERDARK nights, guest spots at bars and clubs, including Privileges' Meganite with FILTHY gorgeous. Expect bumper visits in 2008.

AFTERDARK's final fling in September brought an end to the monthly residency Neil had held for the last four years. Onwards and upwards - after playing a number of guest dates at Musika Neil was invited to join Derek Martin on the resident team. Expect big things in the year to come
